Rob Gorle - Managing Director

Rob enjoys building things. He's a lateral thinker and is skilled at finding ways to bring people and resources together to create solutions. At Giroma he has led the team in building up the business from scratch.

He has practical technical skills as well. Over the years he has built boats, renovated property, and even directed the construction of an amphitheatre.

Now in a different role, he continues to relish opportunities to build the business, develop networks and projects, and to contribute to the practical improvement of people's lives.

Gill Gorle - Director

Gill taught literature and communication for many years, honing her writing skills and discovering computers along the way. These skills are central to her work within Giroma. She enjoys building relationships, listening to people, clarifying goals, setting priorities and meeting deadlines. Producing the quarterly newsletter gives her particular satisfaction.

In the company's early days Gill could often be seen in her overalls, stripping wallpaper, attacking brambles and doing other such things on site. These days her overalls spend most of their time on a hook in the garage, hoping for a little adventure, while Gill works at her desk or goes out to meetings and viewings.

Matt Gorle - Director

Matt has had an interest in electronics and computers from an early age. At university, he was a lab assistant in the database and programming labs. He also tutored privately. Since joining Giroma, he has developed many of its computing and information systems.

In the company's early days it was not unusual to see Matt in overalls, stripping wallpaper, painting, and generally getting involved in hands on refurbishment.

These days he spends more time in the office, providing technical support, maintaining the company accounts and website, looking at site plans and internal layouts, and further developing Giroma's internal systems. Occasionally, he will leave the office for a site inspection or meeting.

Matt helps to produce the newsletter with Gill every quarter. He deals with layout, printing, mailing list maintenance, electronic distribution and record keeping.

Bruce Hertogs - Director

Bruce is an experienced and tenacious customer services manager. He has spent a lot of years in multi-national organizations looking after various customer support, trouble-shooting, product development, training, account management and marketing projects and activities. He is also a published technical writer and seminar presenter. These days his energy, enthusiasm and people skills are directed to finding and developing new contacts and opportunities for Giroma.
