Company history
Giroma began business with the aim of adding value to property to increase its worth. At first we did this by refurbishing existing residential property in the UK.
We then added small new-build residential development projects to our programme and also began to build up a UK rental portfolio.
As our understanding has grown we've continued to explore new ways of adding value to property. Here the broad experience of the directors comes into play as we bring together diverse elements that give Giroma its unique ways of dealing with people.
Research is a vital part of the company's work. By gaining an insight into specific needs in focused areas of the property market we can take on projects which have potential for strong growth. And by looking beyond the publicised 'property hot spots' we find fundamental needs that will under-pin long-term growth within the local market.
As examples, Giroma is associated with a development project for local housing in Bulgaria, a residential development in South Wales, a UK-based rental portfolio, and a small residential portfolio in the USA. These projects are not affected by tourism, speculators, or the vagaries of corporate investors. But they do cater for long-term local needs.
As the property market waxes and wanes through its cycle we will continue to look at a variety of projects, in a variety of places, where we can add value in a sustainable way.
